Sourdough Focaccia Workshop with Michael Joyce of Bub's Bread
In collaboration with Season's Olive Oil Taproom on Main Street
Learn the ancient art of sourdough making. Sourdough is not only incredibly delicious but also healthier than other breads because the fermentation process makes it easier to digest, potentially lowers the glycemic index, and may support gut health. If you have ever been to LIT Coffee Roastery & Bakeshop in Bethlehem or been to Bub's Bread stand at the Bethlehem Rose Garden Farmer's Market, you know the dreamy smell and heavenly taste of the baked goods that renowned chef turned baker, Michael Joyce, creates in his kitchen. Enjoy light snacks and beverages during this 3-hour class.

LEARN: How to maintain a sourdough starter and the process to make sourdough focaccia.

DO IT YOURSELF: Bake your own personal focaccia.

TAKE AWAY: Your own focaccia and a small bottle of extra virgin olive oil form Season's Olive Oil Taproom. Also take home a sourdough starter, so you can bake your own sourdough at home!

Kombucha 101: Brewing Basics with Carmela Cirilli of The Cultured Club
Learn how to make your own kombucha this season! Kombucha is a refreshing fermented beverage that can add probiotics to your diet and interest to your drink section. Carmela Cirilli, of The Cultured Club, will discuss benefits, history and science of kombucha and walk you through the basics of brewing delicious, gut-healthy kombucha safely and easily at home.
